26 Week MFM Update - 02.08.11

Today we had an appointment with the MFM specialist. Our baby girl is doing so great!!! Jesse and I couldn't be happier! All her anatomy measurements were good, placenta location and attachment was good, umbilical cord flow was good, amount of amniotic fluid was good ... all wonderful! Based on her head circumference and abdominal circumference she is measuring appx 2 pounds 3 ounces. Based on her length measurements she is measuring appx 14 inches. Of course these aren't true numbers, but are the best guess of the specialist based on his measurements. Molly is measuring appx 27w5d so she is a bit ahead of schedule. Grow Molly grow! Dr. Kirshon mentioned in a previous pregnancy consultation that he would recommend delivering me early due to the unknown issues with my previous pregnancies and because Luke was large for his age. He said this appointment that he would guess a delivery around the first of May based on Molly's measurements, but this can change over the next several weeks. We were able to see a few different angles of 3D/4D pictures of Molly's face and facial features, which was so awesome. She has the sweetest nose and lips! :) I can't wait to touch them and kiss all over her! I don't know what I'm going to do when she actually gets here ... I think I will be in absolute shock!
