Lilypie Maternity tickers

Are you SERIOUS??? - 9.2.10

This just tops off my crazy month! I've been having very vivid dreams of being pregnant and losing the baby (I guess I should say nightmares). Since I have 2 pregnancy tests under my sink I decided this morning that I would take one just for the heck of it. To my absolute surprise it was POSITIVE! I looked at the test quickly, blew it off and laid it down on the counter, and then it hit me like a train ... PREGNANT!!!

This has got to be wrong. I sat there and stared at the test thinking that the digital "NOT" would appear before the "pregnant" any minute. I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited and it never changed. I was definitely not expecing this since we weren't actively trying this month (guess we weren't preventing either). :-) I called Jesse in absolute panic since our next pregnancy attempt was to be so calculated to the day so I could start taking my progesterone supplements. I am 12 days past my ovulation at this point and absolutely terrified!!! I immediately take a progesterone supplement and call my OB. Of course my OB is out of the office on vacation on the day that I am in absolute panic mode. Luckily her nurse was able to get a hold of her and she said that for me to continue taking the progesterone supplements every night and she will see me on Tuesday for blood work. I slowly start to calm down after I realize that I can't turn time back and the best thing at this point for the baby is to remain calm and stress-free. So looking back at when the fertility monitor said I was ovulating and dates that Jesse and I "sealed the deal" we have concluded that pregnancy #4 was conceived after my birthday get together at St. Arnold's Brewery. Jesse jokes and says that if we have a boy then we should name him either Saint or Arnold ... uh no!

I think it goes without saying that we are absolutely terrified, nervous, excited, anxious, and every other emotion in the book. We just continue to pray for the safety of this little guy/gal and for a healthy, SUCCESSFUL pregnancy!

Oh, and good thing I decided to take this pregnancy test before our all-inclusive vacation to Mexico or this would be one drunk baby! :-)
